The combination of a rockered tip and a flat tail with taper in both the tip and the tail threw me off. I had no clear assumptions of how the Cham 107 would ski. The rocker line of the Cham 107 extends about 368 centimeters from the tip.

The widest point on the tail of the Legend X106 is 275 cm 108 in from the end of the ski then tapers back from there. It does not not even with the lighter High Mountain version. Admittedly it can be a liability in frozen crud but not as much as you might expect.
In softer and deeper snow the tip and tail add versatility to the Chams performance. Ordinarily a ski that holds well on firm snow simply dives in soft snow.
