The combination of a rockered tip and a flat tail with taper in both the tip and the tail threw me off. I had no clear assumptions of how the Cham 107 would ski. The rocker line of the Cham 107 extends about 368 centimeters from the tip.

This ski held an edge on the boilerplate just as well as it navigated the bony tough spots. Although the Cham 20 is lacking the metal laminate that was found in previous versions of Dynastars Cham line as well as its main all-mountain competitor Volkl Mantra that doesnt seem to limit its ability to keep up with your need for speed. A video preview of the Dynastar Cham 20 97 ski. First the construction and finish of this ski look really nice. The Legend X106 has quite a bit of tip and tail taper and is very similar to the shape of the Cham 20 107 it replaces.
The widest point on the tail of the Legend X106 is 275 cm 108 in from the end of the ski then tapers back from there. It does not not even with the lighter High Mountain version. Admittedly it can be a liability in frozen crud but not as much as you might expect.
In softer and deeper snow the tip and tail add versatility to the Chams performance. Ordinarily a ski that holds well on firm snow simply dives in soft snow.
